[心之所向] 坦然無懼的心，不可丟棄

Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering. Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while,

"He who is coming will come and will not delay. But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him."

But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.

Hebrews 10:32-39

你們要回想從前的日子，那時，你們蒙了光照，忍受了許多痛苦的煎熬；有時在眾人面前被辱罵，遭患難；有時卻成了遭遇同樣情形的人的同伴。你們同情那些遭監禁的人；你們的家業被搶奪的時候，又以喜樂的心接受，因為知道自己有更美長存的家業。

所以，你們不可丟棄坦然無懼的心，這樣的心是帶有大賞賜的。你們還需要忍耐，好使你們行完了 神的旨意，可以領受所應許的。因為：

「還有一點點的時候，那要來的就來，並不遲延。我的義人必因信得生，如果他後退，我的心就不喜悅他。」

但我們不是那些後退以致滅亡的人，而是有信心以致保全生命的人。

希伯來書10章32-39節

因信得生，中文翻譯宗教味濃厚，英文的live by faith好像相對親和一些。

忍耐，英文是persevere，以為是更偏近「堅持」「毅力」的意思。有些英文版本也寫的是patience。

坦然無懼的心，英文雖只寫confidence，有些版本則翻boldness或為hope。我喜歡中文的翻譯。

At the end, He who is coming will come and will not delay. That's exactly what I believe.
